Your chiropractic office, your fashion designer shoe boutique, your electronics website, your NFL football offshore gambling blog, your local community parks and recreation center, why do people come to you? Sometimes it seems so obvious doesn’t it? One goes to the chiropractor for an adjustment, the fashion shoe store for shoes, and so on. We know that that’s not always the case. Maybe someone’s coming to a chiropractic office for a radiographic study of their wrist or nutritional counseling, never planning to have their spine touched. It’s one thing to know what people are seeking when they walk into your bricks and mortar business, it’s another to discover what people seek when visiting your website.

Daschle to get Health and Human Services nod from Obama

Former Senator Tom Daschle will be announced Thursday as President-elect Barack Obama’s nominee to head up the Department of Health and Human Services, according to Democratic sources. It has been previously reported that the former US South Dakota Senator would be Obama’s choice, but an announcement date had not been set. Daschle has reportedly stated he is excited about the possibility of serving a role in health care leadership, assisting Obama’s efforts to change the nation’s health-care system. Chiropractors that remember Senate bill 614 and HR 3447 are likely excited as well.

Earlier today chiropractor Michael Dorausch posted a chiropractic blog piece regarding simple and effective ad placement for those using the classified ad system on Planet Chiropractic. The post highlighted something a chiropractor was doing right when placing an employment wanted ad for their office. Dr. Dorausch spoke about information he called “granular” and stressed the importance of using local (and even hyper local) information in ad postings. After viewing the post, I noticed some hidden benefits of participation.
