What if the swine flu virus, which has been spreading across the globe, was not something that occurred as a result of nature, but was man made in a laboratory? Sound like a crazy chiropractic conspiracy theory? Well, it’s a question and Australian scientist behind the development of Tamiflu is asking. Respected scientist, Adrian Gibbs, claims the new swine flu H1N1 virus may possibly have been accidentally created in a laboratory, by scientists using eggs to grow viruses and make new vaccines.

Are you grabbing your face mask, stocking up on food and Tamiflu, locking your doors and keeping your TV tuned to the news to find out just how bad the “swine flu pandemic” really is going to get? While Americans are being scared to death, few are noticing how much of their tax money politicians are giving to drug companies and government health officials to grease the skids to create more experimental flu vaccines and drugs and more effective ways to quarantine or force their mass use whenever a “public health emergency” is declared in the future.

Worldwide news regarding swine flu doesn’t appear to be dying down much in the upcoming week. While deaths have been reported in the state of Mexico, increasing numbers of people dying from swine flu infection have not been yet reported in other parts of the world. Vice president Joe Biden commented on television last week that he would urge his family to stay off commercial airliners, subways, and crowded spaces, to avoid coming in contact with those infected with swine flu. The travel industry was outraged by the remarks, and the White House has apparently apologized for his comments (although his suggestion sounded like basic common sense advice offered by someone who cares about their family). Another person in Washington last week had comments regarding the Swine Flu.

Where is medical science today on wiping out all forms of the flu? The news is volcanic this week with Swine Flu pandemic outbreak stories, not just in the United States, but worldwide. Wearing surgical masks, using hand sanitizer, and frequent washing of hands in hot soapy water, is an activity that has increased amongst many in the affected populations this past week. News reports of antiviral agents, scientific flu medications, and the creation of new flu vaccines that will stop the swine flu strain, have been prevalent in the discussion. This isn’t the first time flu vaccine science has made the news, and it certainly won’t be the last.

Everyone is talking about Swine Flu. There’s no doubt the topic will come up in a chiropractic setting, and chiropractors are likely going to offer advice more on the side of wellness and prevention versus use of antiviral agents, vaccines, and taking of medications.
