DC Thots on Swine Flu Pandemic Planning

It’s a flu-for-all out there. War has been declared on the swine flu by governments around the world. The H1N1 swine flu virus is most notable for its tendency to be drearily lackluster, tame and below average as influenza goes, but on June 11, 2009 the World Health Organization (WHO) pushed the hyper-panic button for the swine flu anyway, triggering a global chain reaction of emergency medical preparations.

Live from South Florida it’s Saturday Night

On July 18 it’s going to be live chiropractic from South Florida on a Saturday night. I received a Facebook invite today from chiropractor Paula Hedglon regarding a Saturday night event taking place in Fort Lauderdale. Chiropractors in Florida have always impressed me with their spirit of community mindedness both inside and outside the industry of chiropractic. All chiropractors in the South Florida region should be attending these regular events.

National Donut Day 2009

Or is it National Doughnut Day? Honestly, I don’t know which is preferred. Doughnut or donut? Either way you spell it, they are still yummy. Happy National Donut Day! It’s a long-standing tradition, apparently starting in 1938 as a fundraiser for the Chicago Salvation Army. Buy some coffee and you may be able to get free donuts from the doughnut chains, or maybe somebody will buy you one. Either way, here’s some info I rounded up on doughnut shops in America.

June News Calendar of Topics

There’s a lot of things happening during the month of June. Here in Los Angeles we’re pretty excited about the 2009 NBA finals getting started on Thursday, and although I’m not making any predictions, it’s been seven years since I’ve closed my chiropractic office for a Lakers Parade. I’d be happy to do that again later this month if the situation came up. Besides NBA basketball and continual news regarding the swine flu (vaccinating the entire planet is probably on someone’s agenda), there’s plenty of other stuff you can expect to read about this month.

Swine Flu Investigation On Human Error Claim

What if the swine flu virus, which has been spreading across the globe, was not something that occurred as a result of nature, but was man made in a laboratory? Sound like a crazy chiropractic conspiracy theory? Well, it’s a question and Australian scientist behind the development of Tamiflu is asking. Respected scientist, Adrian Gibbs, claims the new swine flu H1N1 virus may possibly have been accidentally created in a laboratory, by scientists using eggs to grow viruses and make new vaccines.
