Through a unique research project to study the effectiveness of chiropractic care in medically underserved populations, the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research (PCCR) and Community Health Care, Inc. (CHC), headquartered in Davenport, have joined forces. The joint project is called “Back-to-Health in the QCA.”
Dr. Joseph Ferguson, dean of the college at Life Chiropractic College West, is one of several program directors traveling to Madrid, Spain to help organize this year’s World Federation of Chiropractic/Consortium of European Chiropractic Educators/Association of Chiropractic Colleges Education Conference at the Royal University Center Maria Cristina.

Report of the Annual Meeting of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations – State chiropractic leaders gathered in San Antonio TX November 6-8, 2008 for the annual meeting of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations. Set to the theme “Bridging the River for Success,” over 137 delegates from 44 state chiropractic associations participated in round table discussions and workshops aimed at improving their operations and overall effectiveness in serving their members and advancing the chiropractic profession.
Amongst a ginormous amount of today’s news, including everything from Plumbers for Obama and people seeking copies of an Obama Birth Certificate, there was a single news piece regarding Barack Obama on Chiropractic and Medicare. Later today, the planetchiropractic.com office received an e-mail from a chiropractor on the East Coast which included a 2nd PDF file with a letter from Obama on chiropractic care and his proposed universal health care plan.
