Parker Alumni Association to Recognize Doctors with Awards

The Parker Alumni Association will present the 2011 Parker Alumni Association Annual Awards during the Alumni Association Awards Luncheon held during the Parker Homecoming celebration on Friday, October 21. Medical and Chiropractic Researchers Joining Efforts

In a ground-breaking study, medical and chiropractic researchers are joining efforts to study the effects of a form of non-surgical treatment for neck pain, more specifically Cox distraction manipulation. This study is one of three projects that are part of a four-year, $2.8 million grant awarded in 2008 to the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research (PCCR), headquartered on the Palmer College of Chiropractic campus in Davenport, Iowa.

Southern California University of Health Sciences Board of Regents Appoints John Scaringe as President. Southern California University of Health Sciences’ Board of Regents announced the appointment of John Scaringe, DC as the university’s President, effective May 8, 2010. Dr. Scaringe had previously been serving in the role of Interim President of SCU since August 2009.
