Parker University Presents Scholarships to Students

DALLAS — Parker University College of Chiropractic recently presented $23,000 in scholarships to 18 students. The scholarships committee comprised of Parker faculty, staff, students, and alumni, select recipients based on anonymous applications, the student’s financial need, academic achievements, character, extracurricular participation, leadership, and more. The students were presented one of six types of scholarships including corporate partner, leadership, alumni, memorial, Parker Alumni Association, and endowment scholarships.

Parker College Takes a Stance on Proposed CCE Changes

Parker College recently provided feedback and took an official position on the proposed revision of the CCE standards. The college found the process constructive and insightful. Parker thoroughly and carefully read the standards and found some revisions that they feel will be beneficial to the profession and some areas of concern that they felt needed further clarity.

Palmer College earns regional accreditation from NCA for all three campuses

Palmer College of Chiropractic has earned another feather in its accreditation cap by receiving regional accreditation for all three of its campuses. The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) has notified Palmer that the College–including the main campus in Davenport, Iowa, and the branch campuses in Port Orange, Florida, and San Jose, California has been granted the full, 10-year accreditation by the NCA.

Historic 2009 COCSA Chiropractic Convention

Happy Anniversary COCSA! was the historical celebration that rang out in St. Pete Beach Florida November 12-14th at the Trade Winds Hotel. The meeting celebrated COCSA and their 40 years of service to the State Associations and the Chiropractic Profession.
