Here are a few July and August chiropractic event updates for Los Angeles California, Oakland California, and Marietta Georgia. All of these notifications came via my e-mail. Personally, I find it’s important to hang out with other chiropractors regularly, as it keeps me reminded that I’m not in this by myself. There are local events (like CORE Pasadena and DCS Orange County), and large events (like The Wave and Dynamic Essentials), and I do my best to attend both kinds. By the way, the CCA conference in Reno this past June, was terrific.
Is it time for chiropractors to begin marketing themselves as manual therapists in order to fit in to some medical model? Is the profession predominantly in favor of peddling muscle relaxers and other pharmaceuticals while performing colonics and doing foot baths? Have the colleges gotten so far out of touch with the rest of the industry that churning out student failures has become the primary business model? The doom and gloom train has left the station but someone forgot to send me a ticket.
Who is the world’s most awesome chiropractor? If you’re a doctor of chiropractic, hopefully you’re telling yourself that the world’s most awesome remover of subluxation interference is you. For if you exude that in your presence of being, non-chiropractors are more likely to refer to you as the world’s most awesome chiropractor, when asked their opinion. Today’s great chiropractors aren’t born, they are made.

The 2010 Orange County event rocked as expected, and plenty of chiropractor turned out for continuing education and fired up chiropractic excitement. Consider this round one
