Chiropractic Legend to be Honored at 80th Birthday Celebration
Chiropractors, students and chiropractic advocates around the world are invited to help celebrate the life and extraordinary accomplishments of Dr. Reggie Gold at an 80th Birthday Celebration hosted by the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations (FSCO). “Reggie,” as he is affectionately known by all, has served as a leader of this great profession for nearly 50 years.
“If Reggie has touched your life in any way, which he has so many, you won’t want to miss this once in a lifetime event, ” said Dr. Judy Campanale, Chairperson of the Celebration Committee. “It’s the perfect opportunity to show Reggie how much he has meant to you and to the many people he has influenced in his lifetime.”
“So many of our great leaders don’t receive the recognition they deserve until they are no longer with us, ” says Dr. Dick Plummer, Chairman of the Board of the FSCO. “We are simply delighted to take this opportunity to celebrate Reggie and thank him for all he has given us and chiropractic.”
The celebration will be held Saturday evening, Dec. 3, 2005, and will include dinner and dancing as well as a program with presentations from his wife, Irene; his long-time friend and chiropractic legend in his own right, Founder and current Interim President of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, Dr. Thom Gelardi; and Chancellor of Sherman College, Dr. Jerry Hardee There are also opportunities to include your warm wishes for Reg in a special commemorative program. The celebration is being held in conjunction with the FSCO Annual Convention, The Gold Standard in Chiropractic, to be held December 2-4, 2005 at the Philadelphia Crowne Plaza. Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic is proud to be a Diamond level co-sponsor of the convention.
