Sherman College of Chiropractic 14th Annual International Research and Philosophy Symposium

Sherman College of Chiropractic will host the 14th Annual International Research and Philosophy Symposium (IRAPS), a peer-reviewed conference on vertebral subluxation research and the philosophy of chiropractic, in Spartanburg, SC, October 7-8, 2017. Up to 12 hours of continuing education credit are available. The goal of IRAPS is to bring together leaders in philosophy and research as well as practitioners who are centered on the vertebral subluxation practice, to build a stronger academic community worldwide regarding the subluxation model of chiropractic.

2014 Las Vegas Parker Seminars News

Parker Seminars recently held its largest chiropractic seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada where doctors of chiropractic, chiropractic students, and chiropractic assistants attended. The seminar included classes in business, techniques, marketing and communications, patient procedures and practice management, science and nutrition, philosophy and inspiration, and training for chiropractic assistants.

Recent US Chiropractic College News

Four US chiropractic colleges have sent me news updates for October and November. Sherman College of Chiropractic recently updated a transfer agreement to simplify student admission into the doctor of chiropractic program at Sherman College. Parker University recently appointed Dr. Tim Gross as its vice president of the college of chiropractic. Life University hosted the fifth annual Octagon Conference on the campus in Marietta, Georgia. And the Vice chancellor for research and health policy for Palmer College of Chiropractic has been appointed to the American Medical Association (AMA) convened Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI) Measure Advisory Committee (MAC).

Dynamic Essentials can open the Golden Gate

The next Dynamic Essentials is taking place in Atlanta Georgia the first weekend of August, 2013. I attended my first Dynamic Essentials (DE) event when I was a chiropractic student in Los Angeles. Attending DE had a significant impact on my future in chiropractic. To this day, I keep a book “From the Ordinary to the Extraordinary and Chiropractic” by Dr. Sid Williams on my desk, and I reread it regularly.
