10 years ago, deciding on a name for one’s chiropractic office was a fairly easy decision. In the naming process, a typical chiropractor would determine what other names were being used in the community and steer clear of those. If not using their last name for their clinic (Smith Chiropractic) it wouldn’t be uncommon that they would choose one of several popular chiropractic office names, usually ones they’ve heard being used by friends and colleagues in other states. The Chiropractic Roundtable Discussion Group (CRDG) is scheduled to meet in Las Vegas on Friday, April 11, 2008. Chiropractors representing 12 states will meet to discuss the Open Chiropractor Directory Project, which was created to speed the process of organizing groups for humanitarian missions, chiropractic office emergency coverage, student volunteer programs and internships, and local community outreach.

According to various news sources, a Georgia family will issue a press release today regarding a US government “vaccine court” decision, with a finding that the family should be compensated from a federally funded vaccine injury fund, as a result of injuries occurred after their child received vaccinations.

Panama Chiropractic Mission May 2008

A Chiropractic Mission to Panama has been scheduled for May 24 through May 31, 2008. After weeks of communication, I received an e-mail earlier last week from Lina Guillen, that the humanitarian mission trip has been confirmed. Lina told me that she has met with Juan Carlos Navarro, the mayor of Panama City, and the country will be preparing for the arrival of volunteer chiropractors on May 24th.
